i need help with this bad proigram!!!

i need to get rid of all the mysql stuff on my comp so i re-install it w/o it restoring info i.e when i un-installed it and re-installed it, all the stuff is saved even though i unistalled it. i need to start COMPLETELY fresh with my mysql pls help me!! e-mail: pwnedbyj0sh@aol.com or on AIM: pwned by josh

you should be able to just uninstall it, delete the c:mysql directory (or wherever you installed it to), remove the service (if it\'s on a windows based box), and reboot and be able to reinstall fresh.

i installed it to c:mysql. i unistalled it made sure all teh compnents were gone, but when i re-installed it, i was back where i was right b4 i uninstalled it!!!!

did you delete the my.ini file from the proper windows directory???
