I had practically forgotten about Roadsend. Last time I looked they weren't PHP5 compatible and the project didn't look very alive. But I see their compiler now has PHP 5.2.x support:

Does Roadsend Compiler for PHP support PHP 5?

Yes, since version 2.9.3, Roadsend PHP is compatible with PHP 5.2.x (ZendEngine 2.x).

Cool stuff, enables you to create a standalone FastCGI PHP application.
