PHP 4.4.1 trying to connect to MySQL 4.1.18 - Page Cannot Be Displayed.

We have a Virtual Dedicated Server with godaddy.com.

Whenever we try to connect to the database we get a "The page Cannot be Displayed" message.

PHP works fine on echo commands.
MySQL database name and passwords are correct.
Our PHP Connect strings are correct.

We have tried using localhost, sparoracing.com, our virtual ip address, and so on for the hostname.

Anyone know whats up?

Sounds like godaddy should have the answer... esp. if, as you say, everything is up and running. Even a simple "hello world" non-PHP script doesn't show?

Godaddy cant answer these questions, they are morons.

Every command in PHP works (echo, print, w/e). Just when we try to connect to the MySQL database, it comes back with, "The page Cannot Be Displayed"
