PHP Calendar selection

Ok, so havent used PHP for years and i need to know basic classes and ways to do the following:

I need to create a calendar where the user can select a month and then click on a day. This will then populate a form with this info. Basically just like lastminute.com where you choose a day from a calendar.

I dont expect anyone to give me the code, though that would be great, but a point in the right direction and the classes needed to do this would be great.

There are lots of good Javascript calendars out there that can do what your asking for. When you click a button or link, a small Javascript window can display a calendar, and then populate a form field when you select a date on the calendar. A google for "javascript popup calendar" will give you all kinds of results, or try this site...
