How would i got about deleting/removing all instances of mysql on my computer. I\'ve had trouble with mysql so i\'ve been installing, uninstalling, and even deleting the mysql folders until everything is so screwed up, it\'s beyond fixing. I\'m looking for a simple way to get rid of all of it, and start anew.

Edit: Whoa, I didn\'t know i could sticky posts (unstickied)

Hmm, i did that but when i reinstall it seems to find the old files again. I\'m using all these different kits to that install apache and mysql and php at once. None of them came with proper uninstallation files so i just deleted the folders, that\'s where the problems are i\'m thinking.

ah yeah, when I first started with php and mysql I tried those trio install programs. None of them ever worked for me and I just chomped on the bit and taught myself how to install each from the real install files. Have you tried just downloading the latest stable mysql and installing it by itself?
