1. [!--quoteo(post=374684:date=May 17 2006, 10:14 AM:name=obsidian)--][div class=\'quotetop\']QUOTE(obsidian @ May 17 2006, 10:14 AM) [/div][div class=\'quotemain\'][!--quotec--] PHP will handle HTTP authentication, and you may be able to write a script to allow you to bypass the popup, but you'll have to read up on how to implement something like that. check out this page in the manual to help you out: [a href=\"http://us3.php.net/features.http-auth\" target=\"_blank\"]HTTP AUTHENTICATION[/a]
TY for the reply - thought i was talking to myself for a while there. Already read it some time ago and did not find any clues for what i want... Also i've been googling, and found some ppl with the same question and without answer, kinda weird actually.
2. I know this works in a very simple way - nothing to do with php - in firefox: [a href=\"http://user:password@domain.com/\" target=\"_blank\"]http://user:password@domain.com/[/a] I don't use IE, but there are those who still do, any ideia why it doesn't work on IE?
3. Hi all Got a little question: Can anyone tell me how to do this HTTP validation using a php script. For example I got phpmydmin under htaccess password, there's this box that asks for user and pass. Is there a away to send the pass through php so that no box appears and you go directly to phpmyadmin?
