1. [!--quoteo(post=386214:date=Jun 20 2006, 07:37 PM:name=AndyB)--][div class=\'quotetop\']QUOTE(AndyB @ Jun 20 2006, 07:37 PM) [/div][div class=\'quotemain\'][!--quotec--] here's a quickie - the dropdown menu sub-categories do not work with Firefox ... and that's quite a good percentage of your visitors, I'd expect.
You are apparently using firefox 1.0.7. In 1.5+ the drop down menus work perfectly, [!--quoteo(post=386214:date=Jun 20 2006, 07:37 PM:name=AndyB)--][div class=\'quotetop\']QUOTE(AndyB @ Jun 20 2006, 07:37 PM) [/div][div class=\'quotemain\'][!--quotec--] The dropdown menu doesn't drop down at all with Opera.
I did consider that, but we have had a total of 45 page views from Opera this year. And 20 something of them were me going through the site. [!--quoteo(post=386214:date=Jun 20 2006, 07:37 PM:name=AndyB)--][div class=\'quotetop\']QUOTE(AndyB @ Jun 20 2006, 07:37 PM) [/div][div class=\'quotemain\'][!--quotec--] There's no way back from your 'problems' page.
"Problems" opens in a new window. [!--quoteo(post=386214:date=Jun 20 2006, 07:37 PM:name=AndyB)--][div class=\'quotetop\']QUOTE(AndyB @ Jun 20 2006, 07:37 PM) [/div][div class=\'quotemain\'][!--quotec--] The 'current auctions' dropdown doesn't do anything with Firefox or Opera.
I had not noticed that. Thank you for pointing that out. [!--quoteo(post=386214:date=Jun 20 2006, 07:37 PM:name=AndyB)--][div class=\'quotetop\']QUOTE(AndyB @ Jun 20 2006, 07:37 PM) [/div][div class=\'quotemain\'][!--quotec--] Overall, it's quite hideous-looking.
I know, I know. I have begged and pleaded for them to let me change the layout, However, right now I am just the code jockey (sigh). P.S. Thanks for taking a look at it.

[!--quoteo(post=386067:date=Jun 20 2006, 10:59 AM:name=michaellunsford)--][div class=\'quotetop\']QUOTE(michaellunsford @ Jun 20 2006, 10:59 AM) [/div][div class=\'quotemain\'][!--quotec--] I found a javascript that can detect quicktime version. Hopefully I'll be able to get the detection right enough to not do this anymore.
<personal opinion> Personally I have to agree with the post above, I am not a big fan of video on the opening page. Remember, on average when you pull someone to your site, you have 5-8 seconds to grab their attention before they will click away. Video does not load that fast. </personal opinion>

It's rather annoying to limit it to only one song at a time.
Did you try using
header("Location: http://file location");
to redirect them to the download? This might let the file close and allow more than one d/l
