apache service as non priv-ed account

barley posted a topic in Apache HTTP Server

Im trying to run apache as a service using a normal user account in win xp, but it doesnt seem to work. It can run only as system or admin. In the error logs i get the following error: [Tue Apr 08 18:13:10 2003] [warn] (OS 121)The semaphore timeout period has expired. : winnt_accept: Asynchronous AcceptEx failed. And in the event log, I get: The Apache2 service failed to start due to the following error: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion. Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for the Apache2 service to connect. Any one have any ideas?
