Hello. I just updated all of my soft due to a reformat, and i installaed apache, then php which configured itself. That ran fine. I started to installa mysql, worked fine up until i try to use mysql_connect(). At which point there is no error, but the page refuses to load at all. If i comment out that line it works fine once more. I installed MySQL and it runs fine on the side. I uncommented the extensions dir in php, and uncomment the mysql extensions. I configured the right port in php.ini . I copied the library from MySQl to windows folder and PHP folder. Any ideas what i am missing? php.ini [code] extension_dir = "C:\Program Files\PHP\ext\" extension=php_mysql.dll [MySQL] ; Allow or prevent persistent links. mysql.allow_persistent = On ; Maximum number of persistent links. -1 means no limit. mysql.max_persistent = -1 ; Maximum number of links (persistent + non-persistent). -1 means no limit. mysql.max_links = -1 ; Default port number for mysql_connect().
