Thanks for your help. Yes I am trying to set up a local test server. I just downloaded a php/apache/mysql bundle so now is my next question. The directions are promptiing me to go the the terminal shell and login as the system adminsitrator root: sudo su. Where do I find the terminal shell?

Good Day, I'm a new Newbie to PHP. I am running a Mac OS X. I have a need to set up and run PHP within an HTML document. I also want to view this on my system before uploading to the Host. I understand that this is a fairly simple process, however, I must have a mental block the size of the Great Wall of China. I would greatly appreciate some guidance in the setup and running of PHP.
