    how can i implement a resuming sessions in php ... that is a user can log out for the time being and later when he logs back....he can start from where he left...like in a quiz or a message composing.. i do not understand sessions very well

    i need to implement a timer for a quiz in php.....the questions appear on different pages...so i also need to pass the remaining time to the next page...can anyone please help...thank u
