need php script to copy file from one server to another

Actually i want to give this facility to user, in this we need to daily transfer lot of file from one server to another. The process is like this:- First user upload the file. Second user transfer it differenet account. Third user will send it other. So lot of file are to be transfered that are to be done by user. So we need some script, previously net2ftp was working but after we changed the server it is giving some problem, also on this server php ver is 4.0 previously we were having php5.0 So we are looking for some other option. Hello, I want to copy some file from ftp.abc.com/example to ftp.abc.com/example2 on same server using FTP how can i do it. If anyone has done it before please help me. Thanks Vikas
