hello i am trying to write a condition that would check for a given format for example, i want to do something like if the format of the input is NUMBER.NUMBER, do something or else, do something else also , for example, if the input format is STRING.STRING, do something else i vaguely remember stuff like [1-9], or [A-Z], but im not able to find anything :S thx

Hi guys, im new to the php world. I just created a site www.blabla.com, however, whenever a visitor goes to the next page, it shows something like this http://www.blabla.com/help.php?topic=concern&category=java i would like it that those variables not show, and blabla.com stay only. Any help would be appreciated... if someone can lead me in the right direction :) Tzzoug
