  1. It's vague unfortunately because I actually don't have all the specifics.  The company manufactures clothing so I'm assuming it's just going to be a price breakdown for the individual items and the prices will be determined not only by quantity ordered, ie. 500 t-shirts @ $2.00 per shirt but also how often the wholesaler orders.  So company A who orders 500 t-shirts once a month may get them for $2.00 versus company B who orders 500 t-shirts once a week might get them for $1.50. I should be able to get all the details tonight.  Thanks for the quick reply too.
  2. Hi, I am a total noob to php/mysql but I am trying to help someone out.  Basically, they want to have a login feature (for wholesalers/distributors) that will log them into their own individual price lists.  Not all wholesale prices are going to be the same so each account will have it's own seperate price sheet. I don't think there are going to be a lot of accounts made initially but I figured going the mysql way will leave them room for growth if the company grows like they're anticipating. My question is...how involved/complex is this project going to be?  And aside from learning to code php and working with mysql (something I personally have wanted to do for sometime now), are there any alternatives that may not be as time consuming? Thanks for the input. ps.  I just found the membership tutorial, may be something of value in there!
