why does it load slow? what can i do about it?

On the other hand, I know how to display pictures in a php page, but I don't know how to do it for sounds and videos... Any ideeas / examples? [b]RibTime > [/b] True. It's just startin'... I made the skeleton of the website and now I'm learning a few more things to make them available on my site. I also have some content that will be uploaded and I'm negotiatig for some news packeges to be imported and displayed on my site. I read about Google Adsense and I thought I could try to learn about it too. There are many ads because i wanted to see how they work. The site is in a beta version. When I'll have it all done, you will barely see the ads...

one more thing about the content... i'm planing to have images, sounds and videos included in my site. the question is: should i keep all that multimedia information in the database or should i keep it on the harddisk and only links to it in the database? which way is better?

could you show me an example of a code that provides the feed and also gets the ip address of the machine that is reading the feed? i mean... in my site there's this line: <a href="[url=http://www.amazingscience.octopis.com/asfeed.xml]http://www.amazingscience.octopis.com/asfeed.xml[/url]"><img alt="" src="images/rss-available.gif" /></a> i don't really understand how you "feed" the reader... i don't know what script should i write... Can you help me with this?

I took out that javascript... Does anyone see any popup now? And... I have a RSS feed on the Home page (it's down there, in the footer section). Could you please put the link ([url=http://www.amazingscience.octopis.com/asfeed.xml]http://www.amazingscience.octopis.com/asfeed.xml[/url]) into your feed reader and tell me how it works? One more thing: is there any way I could have a statistic to know how many people have my RSS feed in their feed readers? Thanks!

Does it look better now? About the photos... I will change them, but first i wanna see if every other things are ok... So... tell my your oppinnion please. Tahnks! And... what about the loading time? Is it because of the hosting sevrer? Or why? How can I improve this?

whaaaaaaat????? popup to adult site??? about the validation... yes, i know, so i took out the W3C buttons. i never saw a popup to adult sites when i was accessing the site... could you please tell me if there are showing even now?
