  1. AS you have XP Pro why not use IIS. I know how to set this up but nothing about Apache. If you decide to go this route I will send you a set of instructions complete with screenshots (I know OOOHHHHAAA!!!!!).
  2. If this is a windows server. 2000, XP or 2003 it will be done in IIS. If it is IISV5.1 open IIS and goto your website, right click and select properties. Select Documents tab and click Add button. Type in whatever your startup page is example,  index.php, default.php etc. ensure you move your .php page to the top. Click Apply button and OK. Stop your IIS and then restart our IIS. Test your site.
  3. Maybe this site can help you with this problem. http://forums.iis.net/
  4. Sorry about that Mysty not Misty  :-[
  5. Hey Misty, Plse see the following link. http://www.webthang.co.uk/tuts/tuts_dbase/convert/convert.asp I think this will work for you and the tutorial is excellent. The Witch
  6. By the way are you using to create web pages, a blogg.
  7. I am running PHP with XP and IIS on my home machine. Can you you tell me what you did to configure your IIS. There are certain portions for example the properties of your default website under documents requires the index.php to be added as well as the php.ini file may need a few minor tweaks to work with IIS. I take it you have IISV5.1.
