okeys ill try that now, but how will i then find my username and stuff?

how do i do this? i want to install my PHPBB forum, ive done the uploading and that but it asks for the database name and username, so ive downloaded mysql and installed it, but now what do i do? how do i find the name and username and stuff? sorry but i am very new at this and cant seem to find anything to tell me thnx
