  1. Joomla does too. I have three books on Joomla, tabbed, highlighted, and just about memorized. There are so many joomla specific methods, it truly has evolved into a framework. Although, most of the books are programmer specific info and how to build extensions and components. To download, install, and use Joomla, books are not needed. I'm sure Drupal has comparable books.
  2. Another really simple solution... Just include it in the template code. Joomla also has methods for adding header info if that is needed. creating a "Custom" module and just making it php is another simple solution. For a novice, I think the easiest way is to put it in the templates index.php file.
  3. I second this opinion. I find Joomla always capable of bending to my will with very little effort. Commerical products "in general" have strict rules regarding what you do, or IF you can even do it. They would generally like you to pay them to make it work the way you need it. ??? Go with Joomla, it rocks! If you need help, just ask.
  4. Try to find the php.ini file or php5.ini file and look for the code display_errors = On On my machine it's: C:\xampp\php\php.ini Using "Control F" and just typing "display_errors" would be the quickest way to find it.
  5. You noted that you are dropping it into a drupal block when you get the error. Without seeing the code from your class, I can't tell for sure. I found a couple posts on drupal talking about a multi-site key, you noted cross server class calls, which I why I pointed that out. If you get it, please post your findings.
  6. Looks like you have a typo after the foreach $$key should be $key Try that and see if it helps. Also, have errors turned on, that will usually point out stuff like this.
  7. I just helped code out a quick script for a very similar form mailer. PM me if you still need help.
  8. Nothing very specific shows up in Google or on the Drupal forum searches. From looking around, it appears the siteKey has something to do with multi-site usage with Drupal. This could have something to do with security from Drupal and the multi-site functionality.
