Absolutely I have web content dabses, but wish also to connect to remote data sources. I like the idea of connecting to many such databases, I am sure that a year or so ago I came across a news server which allowed such access hence my example. But yes anything the more the better :wink: PHP do !me right, do me by error code ahhhhhhh thats better.

Ok I know this may well be an odd question but, does aneyone know of any databases that allow anyone to connect to and retrieve data like News Weather etc. I am ofcourse talking about @mysql_connect(\"somenewsserver\", \"root\") style. PHP do !me right, do me by error code ahhhhhhh thats better.
