ColumFerry Posted July 6, 2015 Share Posted July 6, 2015 Hello everyone, I'm Colum. I've just joined so I thought I might as well introduce myself a bit. I'm 18 yo from UK, been programming for about 5 years now. My aim at the beginning was to be a game developer (how original right? Lol. Seems like that is why a lot of people want to get into programming) but now I'm kind of branching out to all forms of development. I like seeing the end product of the programming work, it's what keeps me at it. For about 3/4 years I've experimented with different languages, Visual Basic, C#, Java and a few others but I keep coming back to the one I started off with, PHP. There's something about it that captivates me. I've made a few text based games and modifications for text based game engines as well as a few general websites in PHP. I'm fairly confident in it and have plenty of experience working with it. I've come from other development forums, but hopefully I can bring something to this community. At the current time I'm a freelance web developer and I'm hoping to go to University in a few months time to study Computer Science. So hello!
