[Web Services Advices For Web App And Mobile App]

Hello PHPFreaks,

 

We've been building a solution that has both a web administration as well as a mobile application. The mobile application is for Android and iPhone. The mobile app will access a jQueryMobile page that will display multiple records of data. The user can chose to save the data directly to the mobile device. In a future version the app will write and delete data in the web application. Basically we have view, read, or write that needs to go both ways.

 

What would be a solid, scalable web services API that would facilitate this?

Hello,

 

I have been trying to bring myself up-to-speed on programming as it has been many years since I last programmed and I am simply getting frustrated. I'd like to hire someone to help me build what I need built.

 

I need the work done immediately and I prefer to be able to speak with the person over the phone. Work should be done using the CodeIgniter framework. I have my own dedicated server and have a cPanel account setup for the project.

 

The project is an administration that allows me to populate two different database tables, A and B. Both tables will have approximately 50 fields of data. There will need to be two forms in order to add data to the fields (create record). I will need a display records page for each (select from main menu) table with view, edit, and delete options for each records well as pagination. There also needs to be a link option that when selected allows me to link a record in table A to a record in table B. A record in table A can be link to multiple records in table B. When link a record, there needs to be five (5) pieces of data added to the "link". These are unique to this relationship.

 

In addition, when a record is created in either table, I have two libraries that need to be executed. These are open source classes.

 

I have more work if a solid working relationship can be established.

Hello Phpfreak!

 

I haven't programmed in PHP in about 6 or so years. Prior to that I was an avid programmer with years of experience. I stopped programming because a business I started took off and I didn't have time to code. Unfortunately I sold the business and my developers moved on.

 

I have a application I would like to build and I am seriously considering doing it myself as has been difficult to find anyone to do the work for me.

 

What are the popular opensource libraries these days. Database connectivity, AJAX, etc. I am not looking to customize Drupel or anything along those lines.
