[php problem?]

I edited the correct file, yet it does the same tihng.

I am using wordpress on my vps, and I am getting errors when I try to upload any file bigger than 2 mb.

I changed the settings in /etc/php/cgi/php.ini as well as /etc/php/cli/php.ini ( i do not know if these are the correct ones, but I edited the right ones(I used locate).

Problem is, whenever I try uploading a file bigger than 2 mb, eg., a theme zip, it starts uploading, goes to 11%, back to 5%, then 9%, then 11%, and then back to 5% and so on three times, until I get this error : Error 103 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_ABORTED): Unknown error.

What could the problem be? I am using nginx.

[proftpd management script?]

I am looking for a way to manage proftpd on my vps using the internet, like in cpanel, but I haven't been able to find any worthy scripts for it. The best I could find was last updated in 2005, and was not working anymore. 

 

[Any good php polling script?]

I need to conduct an election at school, and I need to have it done electronically. 

I have certain requirements for this.

I need to have a list of the students, and they should be able to login using a username/password, and I have to store who everyone votes for. 

So is there such a script present already? 

I need to conduct the poll from a single computer, and possibly from a local wampserver install.
