Assuming you just need the count, and not the actual messages, then the following should suffice:

Then pull back the single row containing the count with mysql_fetch_array().

Alright I was wanting to pull information from a MySQL database. Heres the code im using

Alright so I was wondering.. I need to have the msg_recieverid still included because that's what tells it to pull only from their ID, but what I really need to know is msg_read='U' because that says that the message is unread and thats the whole purpose of it. So how can I make a command that lets me pull the number of msg_read='U' that someone has for their msg_recieverid..

Oh im sorry i dont really know what to post but i fixed that by creating another watermark.php and taking out the watermark. Now whenever I send messages to another user it puts them in their outbox instead of inbox.. ahhh i know i should post code but where? lol and the comments are being weird also

Alright I have a picture rating/community site. On one of the scripts (phpThumb.php) doesn't want to display the images. My other file (watermark.php) displays them fine. Im not sure whats wrong ;\

Question 1:

Did you just move from a Windows based server to a Linux based server?

If you did, you will find that Windows doesn't care about CaPiToLs in URL's, but Linux DOES!

I had to convert a TON of scripts when I made the switch recently.

It also look like when you got to the formums, you get this message:

which I take as you have not properly corrected you URL mappings in your scripts to match your new server URL's...

If I could see a couple of lines of code, maybe includes/queries.php and index.php???
