Front end web developer and a application developer? is one better than the other? also is getting a 1 year certificate in one of the above with lots of experience in relation to designing and coding land someone a job in this field? Is a degree nessesary right now? in order to get a job in one one of these fields or can one do that part time wile working but holding a certificate in one of these fields with freelance experience

I would like to be able to use this <img src="user/<?=$log_username. '/' . $main_image;?>" width="130" height="150" id="pic5"/> to work within php and i am having a had time doing so . Any ideas? $log_username refers to the users specific username folder within the main users folder html source code looks like this ,but i need to reference this within a PHP code block not html <img src="user/lexi/pic.png" width="130" height="150" id="pic5"> any ideas? thanks guys

I have been coding for past 2 month with php , like login script ect. I wana know how and what must one do to become better at php , in order to get into job market for example. What books or videos do you recommend? im using mysqli as a beginner of course. but many times i feel so lost with php when i get an error. HOW to avoid this? How can i understand this language better? How do you before you code, draw out ur plans on what u going to do for the project and how u will structure if ps i dont know a super lot about php jargon thanks guy would like to know erveryones thoughts
