I am sorry. Which instance of $f should I replace with $_GET['f']?

When the thumnails are click only the first photo in the array shows. I have been unable to figure out where the problem is:

Just wondering if there have been improvements to php and mysql support in DW8. Haven't been able to get much info about this. Is it worth the upgrade?
