[htaccess problem]

From my error log:

Just read a tutorial about mod_rewrite. I created the .htaccess file and added the mod_rewrite info. But I got a permission denied error. So I\'ve been toying w/ the allow but nothing\'s worked. Please help. My .htaccess file:

 

order allow,deny

allow from all

RewriteEngine On

RewriteRule ^codes/(.*)/(.*).php /codes.php?system=$1&game=$2

[installing phpBB and i get mysql error]

That means that you probably gave the wrong information when you installed phpbb. Try deleting the files and databases and reuploading and install them.
