[[SOLVED] PHPBE: contact email not sending]

Hey,

Well I looked through the code thinking I changed something important but didn't ifnd anything that was bad or changed.

 

I sent some more test messages and lo-behold it works. However the messages I sent few days ago never came through and I sent some msgs to other sellers asking for a response to ensure the form is working.

 

So the conclusion is that it was server-side. (btw it was hard to find a server that allowed custom PEAR modules to be installed.. so I'm not changing hosts just because of this ... I'll ask them and see what they think, they are pretty nice in support so its all good.

Hey,

I am using a script called PHP Book Exchange which is awesome really.

 

Well my site is at www.ncbookexchange.com The problem is that the contact forms in the help page and the contact forms when contacting a seller doesn't seem to work.

 

I can't find any errors in the error log. Sadly I'm not sure how long it hasn't worked which is why the popularity has gone way down...

 

I know the basics of php (like in a book I'm on page VII in terms of my knowledge).

 

Any ideas? I know it worked at one point... Any help is MUCH appreciated. Thanks.

Hello,

I'm clueless... I'm using this third party script PHP Book Exchange which isn't really active anymore. Anyways go to ncbookexchange.com and click on a book. Thats the error I'm getting.

 

IS that my fault or what? I figured I'd download the lite.php and then put it in another directory but can't get it to work. I don't have much knowledge and I actually replied to topic in other forum but this forum is more appropriate. Thanks.

i have similar question.

 

I had program that used amazon_services and also uses cache_lite which my host (im on shared host) installed. It worked fine. Then I decide to move the program to a new folder. I don't think it was because i moved it, but i am getting same error that it can't the Cache/Lite.php.

 

check out ncbookexchange.com and click on a book and u can see error.... The cache/lite.php I think is on the actual server, not my hosting account. So can i assume its the main server, not my own actions that is bringing this error? Thanks a ton!... im losing a lot of activity (for my standards anyways) because of this. thanks a lot for any help!

Hey, i ahve the same problem. Could it be because I sometimes use MYSQL-Front ? ? ? Also I noticed that I can\'t use the browse option.
