Hello. I have a flash project that communicates to php scripts - one of my scripts forwards information to my payment gateway - my problem is that my payment gateway only performs transactions in one currency and the currency used on my site is different to the currency of the payment gateway. is there a way i am able to pass this value just before the payment gateway is contacted and have it converted. meaning i dont require a fully fledged currency converter on my flash project, all i need is the value converted into the currency my payment gateway accepts. what im looking for is a short script that passes the value to a free converter site and returns it back to my page. does anyone know how to do this? thanks.

i have a php script that is called by flash that runs in the background - is there a way for this script to open itself in a new browser window. thanks.

ok let me explain it clearer: a button on my flash movie is pressed: on the click event it calls the php script and passes values to the php script - this php script submits a form to another website but because flash only call the script and doesnt open the php file in a new browser window when the form on the php page is automatically submitted it cant go to the website it needs to because there is no window open. my problem is i cant with flash submit variables and open the php in a browser window at the same time so what i need my php script to do is once it is called it needs to open itself in a new window and then run - obviously it will have to test to see if it is already open to make sure it doesnt get stuck in an infinate open new window sequence. the script i require is to open itself and test to see if it is already open.

I get a no post mode specified error whenever i use the letters "Psy" in any post on my phpbb forum. does anyone no what this is. This error only started occuring after i switched webhost (they dont know how to fix this) Any assistance will be greatly appreciated Thanks

i`m looking at becoming my own web host as all web hosts these days seem unreliable in my country with bad support. i want to set up a windows solution using apache- can anyone give me more information as to how this works, or direct me to a solid solution that i am able to implement. I require information on security dns and actual implementation of the web host. I have a domain name a static IP with adsl 1mb line with a pentium 4 30.ghz , 80gb hdd, 512 mb ram onboard graphics with Xp sp2 - i am able to install windows server 2003 in required. Thanks Anthony

When i post on the forum i have created (PHPbb 2.XX) i sometimes get a "No post mode specified error" this then goes into a 404 browser error if i repeat the action. This problem has only occured after i have changed web hosts and transfered my forum DB over to them. I have comtated them and they dont know what the problem is. Is any one here able to assist?
