So my username came from my passion for t-shirts from sal's.  (For those of you who dont know vintage clothing lingo, sal's is salvation army.)  I bought this t-shirt that was a chubby middle school kid's gym shirt from Jefferson Middle School.  They had a screen printed a white bar for your name.  In black permanent marker was this portly young man's last name... Bojilov.  I wore/wear this t-shirt every other day and forced people to call me bojilov pronounced bow-gee-love.  There it is, my story.  Thank you Sal.

[math function for squaring a variable]

is there a function for raising a number to a power as with a caret.  For example, 2^2 = 4.  I was trying to use the caret and I got 2^2 = 6.  Can anyone explain this?
