I've looked through some examples of PHP crawlers on the web, but most of them just index how many links, images, etc there are. I was wondering how I could create a crawler that will based on a template, get the newest entry from a blog, for example. Now I know you can use RSS feeds, etc, but I don't want to use that. I just want to crawl a blog and get the latest entry. Is this possible?
