  1. .htaccess file:- RewriteEngine on ErrorDocument 404 /index.php RewriteBase /fetshtdocs RewriteRule ^index\.html$ /cgi-bin/gifasm.exe [T=application/x-httpd-cgi] RewriteRule ^index\.htm$ /cgi-bin/gifasm.exe [T=application/x-httpd-cgi] Hi all, the above works for IExplorer but not for FireFox or Google Chrome! Can anyone help please? Even the most basic .html page shows the .html as text. The page is at http://fets.homeip.net should you like to try FireFox or Google Chrome.
  2. Hello everyone, I have a web page http://fets.homeip.net which initially shows a login page. If one hasn't already registered there is a link to go and register. On clicking this link everything works fine for the machine on my local network but I tried it on a friends machine and all I got was an error saying it couldn't connect to SQL server on 127.0.0.1? Naturally 127.0.0.1 is the machine you're on at the time? I should add that on clicking the link to go and register a C++ program is started that does the MySQL work and builds the output page. The output page from the program is not displayed. Is there something I'm missing here? Can anyone help please? Thanks
  3. Allow: ../tony2htdocs/index.html Allow: /../tony2htdocs/index.html Not sure which one did it but I'm now getting both googlebot and yahoo.net visiting both my vhosts. I think the 2nd one with leading / is incorrect. Will remove it and retry.
  4. http://iants.homeip.net http://ian21.homeip.net As I understand it homeip.net is the domain so yes. Thanks.
  5. Hello everyone, I am running Apache2.2 with vhosts on Windows XP home. From my logs I can see both Google and Yahoo checking the first defined vhost in the vhosts.conf but none of the others are being checked. I'm using name based vhosts. How can I get the spiders to check the remaining vhosts please?
