    Hello everyone! I am in urgent need of some help from the PHP gurus out there. I am not a programmer by any standard but I have tried for 14 straight hours to sort out a contribution I need for my friend's website. I am trying to implement this: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/5930 to allow me to have multiple product images with a rollover popup. I have installed the contribution successfully, however since my design is a template the product_info.php file is drastically different than the original OScommerce file which is in order to incorporate the template's styles. My problem is that I cannot get it to display more than one image on the product info page. I have pasted the contributions prpduct_info.php file over my own to test it, and I get the multiple images I need, but it makes the site go haywire due to the styling being overwritten. If anyone out there could please help me I would be extremely grateful as I am losing sleep over this!!! Help!     You must have a username and password from your host to access your mysql database. The address of your database, the username, and password are what you need to input. What is this database for, is it an E-commerce system or CMS? Most tools nowadays have an install script where you fill in the relevant fields with your hosts provided database details. For example, if using a system like the online shop OScommerce, the install script asks you for the database server (eg. mysql12.yourhost.com or IP of host) the database username (eg. name1) the database password and the database name (eg. myshop). All these will be provided by your host when you set up a database with them. I am by no means an expert on these things but I use Mysql for the E-commerce online shops I design. This is how I usually do it, although with your database you might have to edit things manually rather than with an install script. Regards, -Jedi

    Wow thanks it works! You have no idea how much heartache and trouble you've just saved me. I cannot believe that it actually works now, do you know what the problem was? My only issue now is to get this to work with the www.freecontactform.com script, as the other form is not too secure as I'm sure you know. Would I just add the (ini_set) function to this?     Hi again, you need to look at: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES) you need to use the database settings from your hosting company. 'root'@'localhost' is your local PC. regards, -jedi

    Hi there, it usually just shows you the text of the MYSQL database which you can copy, however at the bottom of PHPMYADMIN, there is a check(tick) box that says "export as file" just tick that, leave options as default and try it again.     Hi everyone I really need someones help here, I will be eternally grateful if I can get his problem solved. Basically, I have several of my clients websites hosted on streamline.net. I have a contact form on my clients site at http://www.ctsafetybarriers.co.uk/contact.html. However, the contact form will not send anything to my inbox although it says "message sent successfully". I know the form works, as I have tried it on my site, uploaded the whole ctsafety site to a subdomain on my account (with streamline also) and it works!. I have used FormToEmail.php, and this worked on my other accounts also but not on the ctsafety site. Below, is their reply as well as the code I made from their suggestions. (remember, I also used FormToEmail.php so if anyone knows a mod to make this work with streamline I will be ever grateful) BTW. They now say they can do nothing, as their test script (below) sends an email to my inbox.     Hi there, I have registered just to give you some information. I, and thousands of other people are having the same problem with the contact forms and streamline. I have called them, created support tickets and tried six unique contact form scripts, including two based from their suggestions. Everytime i have not received anything in my inbox, and they refuse to help. The latest message I got was "I'm sorry, but we do not support, or provide help with scripts". What is so frustrating is the script I used was the one you posted above. (I got the same E-mail reply). So, the script they wrote and suggested does not work either, Im at the end of my tether with them . All I can say for sure, is that it seems to be malfunctioning on websites hosted on their newly updated servers. My older websites contact forms all work fine, yet the exact same form refuses to work on newly added domains. I believe that they have a problem with PHP5 and the (MAIL) function on their servers but they do not want to do anything about it.
