I have a application that I have created that is a Fat Application, but the client would like the application to have a Lock symbol that indicates that the connection is a secured 256 bit SSL. Now, if I was doing the application as a web based that would not be a problem, but I am not. My question is, is there away to get some kind of php acknowledgment that would say that it is a secure connection back? to my application? So that if anyone clicks on the button that they would be able to see the certificate? robert

I am in the process of creating a new Website for Hepatitis C awareness. My question is this. I am located in Sacramento, and if you are in the Sacramento area, you would view material from Sacramento.. So, if you are coming in from Salt Lake City, you will view content that is from your area. How can I pull the persons IP check to see where they are coming from? How do I pull the persons IP address? and then how do I compare it to a known IP address locator? Does this makes sense? robert
