Hi guys,
In Joomla Version 1.5.23, I changed my SEO settings to "Yes" for all 3 Options when I went live. I would like to remove the html suffix on my url's and I thought changing the "Add suffix to URLs" option back to "No" would do the trick. But this doesn't work. I get a 404 error when I do this. I don't know if there's anything I need to change on the .htaccess file.
Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would prefer underlining to changing colours. And the issue with underscores is resolved easily as Ignace offered.

I can name myself a little bit conservative so I usually don't like any changes in design which I've been familiar to, but this time I find it more attractive, so the changes are rather positive than not.

No it's just that there is a lot extra junk many editors add. Since it has extra features not pertaining to just editing text. First rule of programming in my book is learn to do it in notepad, li, or what-have-you first. A compiler for a programming language will not parse out all the junk (and shouldn't need to). Characters are still encoded with ASCII standards, just metadata is added to the file. Telling who the author is and date stamp... ect... fun stuff like that. Which a compiler will go... "WTF is that!?!?!? should I puke or should I just print it out."
