Do you think you could post the contents of db.php too? The error looks like you might have called session_start in the db.php too which would cause that error.

[MySQL Order By?]

Firstly, sorry for posting in the wrong area, i keep doing it by mistake, and secondly, that would muck up my system. Is there no other way of doing it?

Basically, how come when i do an ordinary order by, using ORDER BY permission DESC and i have 10 entries, it goes like so:

How can i get it to put the 10 on the top? Is MySQL just stupid about counting?

[Good Programming and Web Design Books]

I found quite a useful one in PCWorld called PHP and MySQL for Dummies, by Janet Valade. Its a very good book. I think it focuses on working with mysql and php together, it doesnt teach you the basics. But the good thing is you can get some of their examples and scripts from a cd at the back of the book, which is a nice feature. It mainly focuses on making login scripts and that kind of thing, but it is a good book.

Ive been using Macromedia Homesite+ for my editing, mostly because i already had it and it had good ftp support and stuff. But it actually isnt built for php so it doesnt give all the nice colours
