The Little Guy
I have a function that I got from the internet. <a onmouseover="mouseLocation(event);" href="somepage.php">The PAGE!!!</a> It passes event to the function, what is held in event? Is there a way I can replace e with a predefined event, because I want to remove onmouseover and replace it with href here is the function: function mouseLocation(e) { var posx = 0; var posy = 0; if (!e) var e = window.event; if (e.pageX || e.pageY) { posx = e.pageX; posy = e.pageY; } else if (e.clientX || e.clientY) { posx = e.clientX + document.body.scrollLeft + document.documentElement.scrollLeft; posy = e.clientY + document.body.scrollTop + document.documentElement.scrollTop; } // posx and posy contain the mouse position relative to the document // Do something with this information }
The Little Guy
OK, never mind I placed javascript:void(0) in the href, and kept the mouseover
