Hi all

During a registration process I am creating a cookie for users to be able to store there login details in, the code I use is
if ($_POST['remember'] == 1)
{
setcookie("cookieusername", $_POST['username']);
setcookie("cookiepassword", md5($_POST['password']));
}
"remember" is the name of the tickbox.

The problem is that once the cookie has been created I cannot get rid of it, even if I scan the computer for cookies, it does not get found. How can I unset them?

Any help would be great

Thanks

Ed

When you don't specifically specify an expiry time for the cookie when created, they last the length of your browser session. When you close the browser window they will be deleted. Some browsers may cache/buffer the session cookies.

To delete, see this topic. My post there will hopefully give you some insight on how to delete a cookie:
