zszucs
Is there any tool or script out there that can validate against free email addresses like hotmail.com, gmail.com etc ? Right now, the only thing I can think of is to compile our own list of emails and then compare the registrant's email to each item in the list. It's not the best way but haven't seen anything else. Any suggestions? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/101457-keep-free-emails-outs/ Share on other sites
Wuhtzu
What do you want to achieve? Keep people with gmail and hotmail accounts from signing up on your site? If that's what you wanna do, then make a list tld's you wont allow and compare to the registrants email. There is probably scripts out there to do so, but they will do the exact same thing. zszucs
I'm trying to keep free emails from being registered. I haven't been able to locate a script that does that yet. laffin
Yep thats the way a lot of ppl do it. keep a maintained list of banned email hosts. so u may want to use a site that lists free email hosts, and extract the hostnames or domain names provided by that host.
