atcs2152
I'm looking for a good AJAX based spell checker and coming up empty. I looked into JSpellEvolution but I had all kinds of issues with it. It would work until I started running PHP, then it would crap out. Eventually it would mess with IIS and I'd have to reboot. I could really use a commendation for an AJAX spell checker that works well, (with PHP) that isn't dependent on .NET/ASP.
rhodesa
While I don't have a solution for you, I'm interested in your reasoning. Every modern browser (that I know of) has a built in spell checker.
atcs2152
I'm stuck in the IE6 world for now. Though it's not the latest version, it's only one version old. As far as I know it doesn't have built-in spell checking. If it does, please tell me where it's at.
rhodesa
No, IE6 doesn't have one built in. I use the Google Toolbar for that browser (as it has a spell checker)
