[SOLVED] SQL Error

SQL Insert Into..

INSERT INTO comments (ID, Name, Text, From, Date) VALUES ('NULL', 'Zach.HD', 'thisd is a test to see if this works haha', 'Whitey.HD', '120842348')

 

The error is

SQL query:

INSERT INTO comments( ID, Name, Text,
FROM , Date )
VALUES (
'NULL', 'Zach.HD', 'thisd is a test to see if this works haha', 'Whitey.HD', '120842348'
)

Here are my tables

 

  ID  int(10)  UNSIGNED  No  auto_increment

Name varchar(255) latin1_swedish_ci No

Text text latin1_swedish_ci No

From varchar(255) latin1_swedish_ci No

Date int(10) UNSIGNED Yes NULL

'NULL' is not the same as NULL. change it to say

INSERT INTO comments (ID, Name, Text, From, Date) VALUES ('', 'Zach.HD', 'thisd is a test to see if this works haha', 'Whitey.HD', '120842348')

also, noticed you use From as a field. change your query to this:

INSERT INTO `comments`(`ID`, `Name`, `Text`, `From`, `Date`) VALUES ('', 'Zach.HD', 'thisd is a test to see if this works haha', 'Whitey.HD', '120842348')

actually i found out why..

i had used a restricted name
