I have it running on a computer i have at home. so far my site is up and running but i dont understand how to make a DB in mysql. i haven't installed wamp but i found somethinging from apache's site that is called xampp and i have installed that. i comes with apache web sever/mysql/php/perl. So i set up my server and everything. i play around in dreamweaver (using php). then i start mysql. the version i have of mysql is WinmySQLadmin 1.4(see pic 1) tehn i click on teh database tab and this is what i see(pic 2). there are no buttons to click to make a new DB or anything. this version of my sql looks older but i don't know anything about mysql. i also dont know how to connect to a database with php but that is another thread. if anyone can help me please speak up i would like to get this thing working [attachment deleted by admin] Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/103168-solved-mysql-setup/ Share on other sites
