Hi, I actually have two questions. Is there a way to put a page/hit counter on my homepage using an apache server? I used Microsoft FrontPage to make my website, and it has a plug-in for a page/hit counter but will not work with apache servers.

My second question is, how do I make a place for viewers to leave a comment on one of my webpages using apache? Just a simple comment block that they type in a comment, hit submit, and the comments are added to the webpage on the side of the screen.

Thank you for any help. §hadownet

For what you're wanting to do you'll need to make sure Apache is configured with a server side programming language. The most common being PHP

Judging by your second question it sounds like the best option for your would be to install a simple PHP script called a shoutbox. There are many tutorials for creating a shoutbox.
