[SOLVED] current filename

I am using the following code to get a particular character from my file name...

 

// Retrieve just the file name
    	$fullPath = $_SERVER["SCRIPT_NAME"]; 
    	$parts = Explode('/', $fullPath); 
    	$currentFile = $parts[count($parts) - 1]; //returns channel1.html

             $channel = $currentFile{7}; //get channel number from filename of .html

 

i have changed my file names to include a leading zero if needed eg (channel01.html)

 

I need to modify this code to set $channel = the 01 from the file name

Answered my own question....

 

            // Retrieve just the file name
    	$fullPath = $_SERVER["SCRIPT_NAME"]; 
    	$parts = Explode('/', $fullPath); 
    	$currentFile = $parts[count($parts) - 1]; //returns channel1.html
             $channel = $currentFile{7}.$currentFile{8}; //get channel number from filename of .html
