Control Pad
I normally don't use this word in serious situations, but it fits: I am a noob at php. I can barely make a website, but I did, with Dreamweaver-related assistance, and I have no clue what php does or even what it stands for. But, I downloaded boastmachine, a blogging platform, for my website, and it doesn't work for some reason. I followed the instructions, and all the files are where they're supposed to be, but when I look at any of the .php files on the internet, it shows the code for them, not all the pretty colors and text forms. I opened the files locally in Firefox, and they looked fine, but for some reason the internet hates me. You can see one of the files that doesn't work, and my website if you want (it's iffy) at http://www.controlpad.ca/boastmachine/login.php. I need someone to explain why the file is working on my computer but not on the internets. I have very little knowledge of this "php" witchery, but I'll try to understand any hard words you throw at me.
Control Pad
I wanted to fix my problem so bad, I posted in the wrong category. Oops, sorry. Since I can't delete the post, someone report it to the moderator because it doesn't belong here. I apologize for looking like a noob. aximbigfan
Does your web server know to parse .php? Does it have PHP installed? Chris
