HalcyonFlux
I have successfully installed a membership manager script (Login Manager v3.0), which allows users to register on the website and gain access to online magazines for free. However, I have noticed that the pages that's supposed to be protected are still accessible just by entering the direct link of the pages on a internet browser. It will be good if someone can help me troubleshoot this error. Many thanks in advance, as I'm a newbie in programming. The link to the login page is... http://www.petsmagazine.com.sg/digitalmag/login.php Page with links that are supposed to be protected, http://www.petsmagazine.com.sg/digitalmag/members/issues/index.php Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/105384-access-to-protected-pages/ Share on other sites
Rohan Shenoy
The protected page should first check whether the user is logged in or not and then allow him access. I think you must not have integrated it into the restricted pages. HalcyonFlux
Thanks Rohan for your reply. This is a ready-made script that I installed on the site. When I tried the demo version of the script on the developer's site, everything seems to work fine. http://www.easebayresources.com/product_lm.html So I am not sure what went wrong, perhaps the specification of the Directory Path is wrong?
