allistera
Hey there! Having a problem with a new design project, here is a image of the problem: And the Code: #mainCon { width: 85%; background:#FFFFFF; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; min-height: 700px; height: auto; padding-bottom: 100px; } .roundCon { float: right; min-height: 300px; height: auto; width: 70%; font-size:15px; font-family:verdana,helvetica,arial,sans-serif; } The problem is because the roundCon is set to float right, it is not increase the height of the mainCon, if I remove the float, it does but it completely messes up the page. Anyway to let the mainCon recognize the roundCon and increase the height? Thanks Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/106099-div-floatmin-height-problem/ Share on other sites
LooieENG
Place a footer div at the bottom, and use #footer { clear: both; } Should fix it Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/106099-div-floatmin-height-problem/#findComment-544415 Share on other sites
