Apache-Server with dynamic Netdrives possible?

Hi,

 

I´ve got an Apache running on my laptop. I have an usb-harddisk

on which I have data I want to host. But the problem is that the

server denies to start if I have an alias in the httpd.conf that

connects a not existing drive e.g. Alias /test "D:\test\" does only

work if the drive D:\ is connected. So I wanted to know if it

possible to force the server to start anyway or to include net

drive aliases with an ifexist or something like that.
