[SOLVED] Calling on the result of a php function

Hi there.

I have a php random generator script.  The end result of the script is create and called upon by this code in my html:

<?php
echo get_rand_id(10);
?>

My question is, how can I get the number which is generated to populate itself into a hidden form field?  How can I give it a name to do this?  If I use the same code again which calls on the function, again, I get two seperate numbers, because it generated another random number.  So I need to be able to get this one number which is generated, somehow, onto a form field.

Thanks.

 <input type="hidden" name="randomVar" value="<?php echo get_rand_id(10); ?>">

or if you want to generate one random value and use it multiple times in the script,

<?php
# include your gen script
$randomVariable = get_rand_id(10);
?>

<input type="hidden" name="randomVar" value="<?php echo $randomVariable; ?>">
