[SOLVED] ufo php wtf

Ok this is the simplest piece of code ever i know but its playing up! Im ususing it to insert a new category into my database.

 

It inserts the data but gives a blanc screen as if it hasnt worked instead of redirecting! ANY1 ANY IDEAS??

$cat = ($_POST['cat']);

$inssql = "INSERT INTO biggart_categories (cat) VALUES(  '$cat')";
mysql_query($inssql);



if($result){
header("location:admin_account_category_view.php");
}

In that statement, $result is not defined
