gazfocus
I'm not sure if this is the right place for this so please forgive me if it's not. I have been asked to do a website for a Nursery but from what I gather, they are computer novices. I am looking to do a Content Management System and wondered what the best way to do this would be? (I would prefer to design my own, rather than use one of the open source packages, just so I can keep it simple). Can this be done in PHP with MySQL or would it need to be ASP or something? garry
Of course it can be done with mysql and PHP. I'd take a look into the Joomla CMS. Very customizable and easy for your client to add content to. bilis_money
yes you can create your own CMS using php and mysql. but my advice is to save you time my friend. just use the existing one like JOOMLA. gazfocus
I currently use Joomla for my work website (I work at a university), and it may just be the way our Web Dev team set it up initially but it seems far too confusing for a computer novice. Are there any really simple CMS's? Thanks Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/107954-content-management-systemsadvice/#findComment-553326 Share on other sites
